Dr. Anne Marie Pfaff

Owner

Dr. Anne Marie graduated from Colorado State University and she and her husband, Dr. Reinhold, moved from Colorado, to Indiana, to Minnesota and finally to Madison, VA in 2002 to aquire Madison Companion Animal Hospital.Two children and many pets later, they have put down roots in Madison County. If you don't find Dr. Anne Marie at the clinic, she is most likely outside in someone's garden or at church.

Dr. Olivit

Associate Veterinarian

Hello! My name is Dr. Olivit. I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in London, England and have been in the Madison area for 3 years. I am thrilled to join this wonderful and heardworking team in ensuring the best possible care for your pets. When I am not at the clinic I enjoy gardening and spending time with my husband and 2 dogs: Moose, a 7 year old Labrador and Waylon, a 2 year old Bernese Mountain Dog.

I look forward to partnering with you to establish the best treatment and preventative plans for you and your furry companions.

Dr. D'Alfonzo

Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Devlyn D'Alfonzo was born and raised in Richmond, and attended Virginia Tech to complete her bachelor's in Animal and Poultry Sciences in 2004. She then went on to complete her DVM in 2009 at Ross University, graduating with high honors. She then completed a rotating internship with Virginia Emergency and Specialty centers in 2010. In 2011, she became a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist. She moved with her family to Madison County in 2014. In her spare time she enjoys time at home with her family, horseback riding, reading and gardening.

Office Manager/Client Service Representative

I've been with Madison Companion Animal Hospital for over 12 years. I am passionate about providing the best possible care to our patients and their owners. I've had a love for animals ever since I was a child. I assist the front office with daily tasks as well as more in depth behind the scenes office work. I assist the veterinarians with a multitude of different tasks throughout the day. I am a Madison Co. native and have been married for 20 years with three children. Myself along with my family are a rodeo family, we own several bucking bulls that we stock contract out to different rodeo companies while watching our eldest son Evan compete in bull riding. At our ranch we put on our own rodeos while having practice clinics to help train and introduce new riders into the rodeo life. My middle child Hayden works here at the hospital with me and is pursuing her career to become a veterinarian technician. My youngest son Hunter enjoys hauling to the rodeos and riding his horses, dirt bikes and four wheelers.

Kennel Staff

I have been working at Madison Companion for 4 years and I have learned so much! Working here has helped me a lot with my own Dairy Beef steers that I raise and sell in the Madison County 4-H Dairy club. I have worked as senior kennel staff, helped with appointments, surgeries and the front desk. After I was asked if I would be interested in working here, I became the third child in my family to come and work for this office. My hobbies include working here, showing cattle, riding horses, and playing with my dogs.

I have been working at Madison Companion since 2023. I have gained so much experience and learned many things that have been useful with caring for my own animals. I look after the boarding pets during their stay and assist wherever I am needed. When I am home I spend my free time crocheting, spending time with my pets, and caring for and building new things for my farm animals.
